Info about our motors: .75( 3/4) HP AC Gearmotor, 110/115V, 60/50Hz, 10A, 1PH – Manufactured by BisonGear & Engineering Corp. and Made in the USA. We have two versions of motor with same specs above but with different gear ratios. Our typical use motor has a 5:1 ratio and produces 122 lbs Torque. Our Heavy Duty use motor has a 7.5:1 and produces 184 lbs Torque.

In 2015, Pilot Coffee Roasters in Toronto began doing business with Dixie Canner in Athens, GA. The initial order was for a single-head manual can seamer which Dixie Canner has built a reputation for over the last 125 years.

Various industries, such as food and beverage manufacturing, have witnessed a significant rise in production costs. As a more practical alternative, several brands have turned to specialty canning equipment to professionally package products and preserve their supplies.

Canning is one of the most widely used methods of storing and preserving foods, beverages, pharmaceuticals and industrial goods. However, canning instructions and equipment have changed over the years.
