The PACKAGE 5 AUTOMATIC RETORT CONTROL SYSTEM is a PLC based control that allows easy operation in any of five modes. All communication with the PLC is done through a touch screen HMI mounted on the door of the control box. The touch screen allows the user to choose one of the five operating modes, enter set points, start the process, and view the status of the cycle. A circular chart recorder gives a complete record of the time, temperature and pressure inside the retort and digitally displays the current temperature, pressure and elapse time.
